So I accidentally moved the players map of chult while on the map layer. Is there a way I can move it back or reset it? I realized it too late and ctrl z did not help.

You'll pretty much just have to do it manually.  It should snap to the grid, but if it's intended to align differently, you can hold alt to precisely place it.

Ctrl/Cmd-Z works if it was one of the last changes you made in your current session.  Also with The Aaron's precision/snap-to-grid approach, you can use the arrow keys for square-by-square/pixel-by-pixel movement.
