CLOSED: LFP: "Frightful Fate: A Horror-themed Oneshot" (2-3 sessions; Friday/flexible; 7 pm, CST; Roll20 and Discord)

Hey everybody, Just gauging interest for a Horror-themed game I am thinking about running in honor of this spooky time of year. Haven't posted the game publicly yet but here is the game description below. This would be my first time GM'ing a game of FATE, though I have experience with DM'ing DnD 5e, and playing some FAE. Really just wanting to see if anyone would be interested or thinks this would be worthwhile! Also, want to try out the screen layout I have been working on. Let me know if you are interested: With Halloween and the second season of Stranger Things all upon us, this time of year seemed like a good time to try a horror-themed oneshot game of FATE Core. This will be my first time GM'ing a game of FATE. Looking for three proactive, enthusiastic players who want to stretch their creative mental muscles and tell a ripping good scary story. First session will be to establish the world/setting and go through character creation. Second session will be to play, and may lead to a third session to wrap up the story. Audio chat will be through Discord. I live in the Central Time Zone (UTC-6:00) in the U.S., so a weekday game would likely start around 6:30-7:30 pm CT. Weekends could be a possibility, but are less available for me. Possible genres/settings: Paranormal Investigation, Zombie Apocalypse, Murder/Disappearance Investigation, Cosmic Horror, Alien Invasion, Global Apocalypse, the classic Haunted House, etc... I have a few situations I prefer, but we can talk that out as a group during session zero. Disclaimers: (1) This will be a Horror themed game with all the spooky, weird, and possibly gruesome stuff that implies. If that's not for you then this isn't your game! (2) I have absolutely zero tolerance for any weird sexual crap in any games I participate in, so JUST DON'T. Don't come to the table with setting/genre suggestions that include that stuff either. There are plenty of other types of stories to choose from. (3) Some of my favorite people are timid and shy, but if those two words describe you, then you probably shouldn't play this game. FATE relies on more collaborative storytelling than many other games, and this requires all its players to be proactive, imaginative and involved, otherwise it's dull as hell. That's about it... No clue if anyone will be interested in this, but if this game happens then it should be pretty lighthearted and a helluva good time! - Katrina
I'd absolutely be down for some cosmic horror, murder investigation, anything of the like really.

Sounds good for me

I say this often: there is a good Mechanical Summary of Fate Core on Reddit (text), and I made it available as a Handout in games I was involved in. It presents handy rules in the order you are likely to need them: https://www.reddit.com/r/rpg/comments/17h3a2/a_mechanical_summary_of_fate_core/
If this hasn't happened yet, I'd be so down for this! If it did, I have no doubt that it was a good time!
