On Brikwars

Does anyone other then me plays this lego wargame on here? looking for player for first brikwars online roll20 game

I considered attempting both BrikWars and the similar in concept Mobile Frame Zero a few months ago when hashing out a mech game for Roll20. After messing around with the Lego Digital Designer and doing some proof of concept work, I came to the conclusion you miss out on so much by not actually getting to play around with physical Lego blocks. Now, if everyone had access to their own Lego and was willing to upload photos of their work (with all participants having GM privileges) and updating the photos with damage I can see it being fun. It might be best for an asynchronous game in this case - you're losing a lot of instant gratification inherent in wanting to play a lego wargame.

That sounds like a similar problem I run into when I puzzle out how to play Gorkamorka on Roll20. Half of the fun is building Mad Max contraptions and then mutilating your crew when battles go awry.
