[LFG] New-ish player. Mature, open schedule, video/voice ready

Got into a D&D 5E campaign a few months ago and was hooked. Only got to play roughly 4-5 sessions though before I had to move across the country. Now I am looking to get back into it ASAP. I have a D&D 5E players handbook which I have studied quite a decent amount of. Also have been binge watching quite a few different campaigns online getting myself familiar with the game.  Would like to have a healthy balance of RP and combat as I would like to learn both well, but would not mind getting heavier on the RP. Last few years of my gaming experience have been occupied mostly with MMORPG's and random strategy games. I have a top tier gaming computer / bandwidth capable of video conferencing, high quality voice, and streaming as requested. If you require any additional information, please let me know and I will contact you ASAP. Open to any role the group may need, but usually play a tank in RPGs/MMOs.  Happy gaming! Are you open to other systems?

I would be willing to look into it and determine if it seems right for me.  Was going to post that I'm also interested in Dark Heresy since I'm a big W40k fan but forgot.  Mostly looking for something long term so I want to make sure the universe/playstyle sounds like it would engage me in the long term.

How about Only War?  I am starting a game with a mixed regiment.

Will read some more about Only War, but I will say that I personally feel like the Imperium is one of the least interesting parts of 40k to me.&nbsp; If I did get into 40k instead of D&D it would probably be to play Dark Heresy or some Xenos stuff.

I have a post-apocalypse RPG game (Darwin's World) and i am looking for a player who can dedicate themselves to the game. It plays very similar mechanically to D&D 3e, there are some thematic differences... We play on Sundays 7-9ish Mountain Standard time..
