Quality of Life suggestion; Real time updating!

Maybe it's just me, but it happens all the time, I've spent 5 minutes typing into a handout only to accidentally hit the escape key loosing all the work I just did. Is there no way to have an auto-save feature or perhaps even real-time entry instead of the having to hit 'save' or lose everything?

I recommend always editing in an editing app and pasting into Handouts. I use a Markdown editor (Byword) and export as RTF that I paste into Journal entries.
