Hello, one and all, Let me take a moment to give a brief introduction. Longtime GM recently coming back from hiatus and looking to start up a game to step a foot back into familiar territory. That being said, I'm looking to start anew with a fresh group of players to reinvigorate myself and get back into the GM mindset. Now scrolling through most of the games on roll20, I can't help but notice the overwhelming popularity of DnD (specifically 5th edition) and sadly- no mention of Iron Kingdoms; a game set I've grown to love. It's a bit obscure, usually only known by those with knowledge of the tabletop game Warmahordes (Warmachine and Hordes) but I stumbled upon it by way of a friend, and I've been hooked on the world ever since. Thus the reason why I'm trying to see if I can dredge up the few that know about the game, or possibly those interested in giving it a chance. Now I will state outright that my style of DMing is mostly about the experience over the rules, and I usually prefer having heavy RP as a center point for my games. Granted I've made it a point to be accommodating in the past, I'm looking for a group that understands that there will be consequences for the actions of their characters, but great rewards and chance to provide some character development. Now this will more than likely be an evening game (CST) and I prefer for my party to be about mid-sized (6-8 players), but I'm flexible on the day and will attempt to tailor the story of the game to the wants of the party. I often create custom stories for my games and try to adhere to the lore as much as the story will allow. Looking to get some feedback on this one, and I look forward to what you all will have to say.
