Patrol Routes for NPC tokens?

Hey everyone, I just recently started using this site, and I am loving it so far. But when making my maps, my towns always seem so boring, or static so I was thinking of maybe adding the option to add a patrol, or movement for tokens. Say X squares every X seconds, and have a pre-planned path for them to move before hand. You could have say, a dance that moves around your inn, move 1 square every 3 seconds or something. This would be helpful in having NPC's move around a town, or inn and not have them all stand there staring at our PC's. Thoughts? Pros/cons? Too hard to do?

This kind of automation is what the API (a mentor level feature) was created for. I would check with the API forum to see if this is possible.

There was an API script someone was working on that made tokens move in preplanned routes such as an orc patrol would move 6 units left and 4 units down then reverse that motion. It is in the API forum somewhere.
It is definitely possible. You could even make it somewhat random with waypoints set at various intersections.
