In the watery chamber of the sewers, the party could see an insectoid creature, Ron was able to identify as a Mozzoloth, a type of fiend. It spoke to them telepathically through Cassius in infernal. It agreed, for 100 gold, to guide them to its master’s house but freaked out when it saw Iggy, attempting to kill her. The party almost killed it in a single turn, with it releasing a giant cloud of poisonous gas that killed Iggy, causing her to turn into a pile of goo. When asked about why it did such, it said “I kill spy. It was spy.” The party questioned it, then gave it the rest of the gold to say everything it could about the Iggy’s, which was mostly that they were constructs loyal to the followers of Tiamatt in the government. Meanwhile Rurrick had snuck forward away from everyone and found the entrance to the hideout. He was noticed as a small spider and a guard stepped on him, causing him to immediately switch back to his full form. He summoned two giant spiders, and easily dispatched 4 of the 5 guards, leaving one alive. The rest of the party caught up, with Urd now being made aware of intruders. Biff, the half-ogre from Bonehammer whom Urd had been speaking with, sent Givg the monstrous dwarf woman to escort them up. Givg came and escorted the rest of the party to the second floor of Jendra Faine’s home, the dragon knight commander and general of Dree’s military. Givg was concerned they killed “Mulch”, the zombie beholder living in the sewers below their castle. They talked with Biff some, who suggested they talk with Jendra Faine who was about on business. The party talked to him for an hour or so until Jendra returned. During the conversation the party shared their information about the undead attack, Ruara, Namfoodle, the king of Gargoyle, and the goblin prince. At the mention of the goblin prince, Biff shared that he’d heard rumors from Bonehammer of goblin attacks and unrest, as well as mentions of this prince. The goblins were fighting alongside undead, and the orcs and humans of Bonehammer (the Eurik) we of the belief that Dree was likely behind it and many had been talking about going to war with Dree. Some of the other information they got from Jendra Faine included: Her boss was the Dragon Knight Archcommander Master Rainerus Lady Corrive was a self-proclaimed priestess of Tiamatt Jendra knew of Ruara, who had ancient connections to the Dree and also Lord Shrave Lady Corrive had been trying to take over Shrave’s land for centuries, but he never took the threats seriously. “Princess Lightcrown” (Jendra wouldn’t call her Queen), was allied with Tiamatt along with the rest of her family. While Lady Corrive and the Lightcrowns worshipped TIamatt, Shrave had always refused to do so, worhsipping the dragon gods of death and dark secrets instead (Null and Kalzareinad). Jendra agreed to make sure the nobles didn’t send Dree to war with Dravens prematurely, especially in light of this information about someone sowing seeds of war in Bonehammer as well. She also offered to have one of the smaller houses “sponsor” the party if they wanted to take the diplomatic route. She warned them that if they returned to the Seat of Shrave, there would undoubtedly be assassins there waiting for them. Wanting to leave, but not before they received word from Anna, the party decided to take their chances and head back to their quarters in the castle, but not before spending the night in Jendra’s headquarters. The next day they returned to the Seat of Shrave, being stopped by potential slavers and then browsing in the royal market where they bought lots of potions and some other magical items. They entered the castle and were greeted by an Iggy. “Hello, there!”
