Basically what I am saying that a button or option that you can enable or disable and it makes it so you don't have to have it in the grid, as in the tokens can be on the grid lines.

You can disable the grid in the page settings and you can move tokens however you like. You would need a visual grid in your map image if you still need to refer to a grid. Otherwise, you can hold down the Alt key while moving a token and it will not snap to the grid.
