We played a D&D quest loosely based on "Dead In The Water" song by David Gray. A party member suckled on the blood of a forgotten god. There was a Midgard serpent dragon, and some Cthuluoid tenteacle-dead monsters in the water. A major spell trap in the shape of a giant hand was able to fling randomized Bigby's Hand spells at interlopers in a certain range. (Bigby's Interposing Hand, up to Bigby's Clenched Fist -- legendary spells in AD&D). The 2 PC's collected the 4 pieces of the puzzle, and placed them correctly with the qualifying utterances on the mic. Call it what you like. We had fun! All of us 3 Players won. By David Gray (A New Day At Midnight) People stand in line People stand in line People stand in line A premonition of the killers angel eyes An Armageddon sky Tell it like it is - It’s like the old man says, "We’re dead in the water now" Dead in the water - They come from miles around in avarice and love to suckle on the blood of some forgotten god Sell it like it is - It’s like the old man says, "We’re dead in the water now" Dead in the water 1. A simple act of faith, 2. A celebration of the colour and the creed, 3. The cancer and its seed, 4. Crackles on the mic - Call it what you like. We’re dead in the water now.. Thoughts? Memories?
