Setting focus on the player tokens located a map.

When working with larger maps, is there a way you can set the focus on the players token when maps are open? (so that the players don't have to pull way back on the map, find their token on the map, then center the map to their token?) -The map would focus on where the players are....  
while the select/move tool is selected (the basic mouse at the top) hold shift and hold down the mouse button to do a ping. If the ping is done while holding shift it will move the screen to the point desired.
