Isometric Grid

I think it is about time that an isometric grid gets released. There is quite a bit of isometric content on the marketplace but it's not even supported in the app. What is holding this back? I'd love to see it and try it out!
it could be that using iso requires a perspective shift on the page here is the wiki for it https://wiki.roll20.net/Isometric_Maps_in_Roll20 i however would love to see a general overhaul of the system that would allow for tilesets purchased to be auto selected and sorted into expected use. we will see updates to the system but i think they require a re coding from the ground up so there slowly working on parts of the code at a time. i know there is alot of canvas work to be done which might also inculde better iso support.

The VTT could really benefit to produce cool effects like this if it made full use of the WebGL technology underlying it instead of trying to do 2D canvas implementations for all its features. Making full use of the WebGL technology would not only enable perspectives for isometric maps, but also allow other neat features such as 3D maps, tokens with elevation, and it would still be able to support 2D maps just as easily. Not to mention, the stenciling functions in WebGL could be used to implement a MUCH better version of advanced fog of war. Also, since WebGL uses GPU processing power instead of CPU to render, it could provide performance improvements for many users. There appears to be another suggestion thread for isometric grids. I'd recommend everyone put their votes there: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1295021/slug%7D
I would really love to see an Isometric Grid set up!
Closing this thread, to help the other listed.
