Hello, I’m having a problem with undoing.
I’m not sure whether this was intended by the developers, but, for me, “undo”s cannot undo more than one action. This is often extremely problematic.
Example:
1. Without realizing it, I accidentally delete a tediously designed castle from my map.
2. I drag an orc token onto the map.
3. I realize I have accidentally deleted the castle, so I use “command + z” (undo).
4. My action of moving the orc token onto the map is undone—as it should be.
5. I use “command + z” a second time, hoping to undo the deletion of my castle.
6. Instead, my action of moving the orc token is simply redone. (It undoes my “undo.”)
It seems that once I have pressed “delete” and begin to do anything else, whatever I deleted—anything more than one action prior—cannot be undone. This can be rather frustrating.
I am however, able to undo multiple times while using one of the polygon tools (Polygon/Line or Polygon Reveal). This makes me think my inability to undo other functions multiple times (without simply redoing) is unintended by the developers.
Is there any way we can have the “normal” undo and redo commands and have them compound multiple times? “command + z” (Mac) and “control + z” (Windows) for undo and “shift + command + z” (Mac) and “shift + control + z” (Windows) for redo?
Let me know what you think and whether anyone else is having this problem.
Thank you!
