"'WAKE UP MAGGOTS!' Your head rings as the sound of the quartermaster hitting the bars of your cell fills your ears. There are certainly more pleasant ways to start your morning... 'Today is the big day! Wouldn't want to miss your own main event would you?' The quartermaster, a tiefling, grins at you through the bars, mockingly. It takes you a couple of seconds to make sense of things, but eventually it all comes rushing back. The potent smell of sweat, feces and blood makes you gag. The shouts of other prisoners, the sound of swords clashing in the practice pit, the screams of pain of the wounded and dying, all fill you with fear. You remember now... You were captured, blindfolded and knocked unconscious. Dragged all the way to Albriskali, made to fight for your life in the arena. It's been 21 days now since your first fight... You've managed to cling on to life, but you can feel your strength starting to fail you. You don't know how long you'll last. Today a special event takes place: a deadly teamfight between the strongest competitors in the arena... and you're to be part of it. You can only hope you get a lucky draw." Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've last played an RPG. I've been trying to find a group that accommodates my schedule but it has proven hard. That's why I decided to create my own! This will be my first time DM'ing D&D. I'm working on a short homebrew campaign, using standard 5E rules, and drawing inspiration from a bunch of sources. This campaign will be a learning curve for everyone involved, and preferably I want to give a chance to new, excited and creative players to be a part of this. The only thing I require of my players is to be dedicated to their roleplaying. Think about what character you'd like to play and build around that. Do not focus on what would be the most efficient, but what would be the most exciting, creative and fun. Do not focus on min-maxing. I'm looking for players who'll design characters with flaws, not bastions of perfection. I want there to be conflict and arguments. Act the way your character would act, no matter the outcome! Again, I'm looking for players who are new to D&D, as I want this to be a fun learning experience for everyone involved. Can't wait to hear from you guys! https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/96497/the-hunt-gmt-plus-0-new-players-only
