Looking for a homebrew campaign to join! Something with other players who are interested in creating a story and developing characters together outside running from combat to combat. I'm not looking for a west marches game, I want something long-term that meets at least weekly. Saturdays are my most free time slot but I can maybe work with other times. I'm hoping to find a group with players that are dedicated to the game, aren't going to skip out mid story. What kind of character am I looking to play? Race: Dhampir (If possible the character I want to pick up was originally created in pathfinder and I liked the idea of Dhampirs.) Class: Hexblade Warlock
i am in the same boat i am looking for the same i apologize if you are offened by me posting this in your group but i am tired of people joining and then just disappearing without reason

Keep at it though friends and you will find that group.
DM running a campaign on Friday nights 8pm MST. Homebrew, w/semi relaxed rules to favor story telling and fluidity vs number crunching. Current players are all great. I posted an LFG after two players left, but so far I am still looking for one since I pulled the add and a player turned down their spot. If this is something that may work, let me know. I am also willing to offer more about the setting and story. I would also like to ask a few more questions if this would work
Yeah Marcus it's everywhere. People don't feel like sticking with something and then just leave. Sent you a message Shane. ^^
I have a slightly homebrewed 5e campaign running now. What I mean by homebrewed is the world is my own creation and that there are varied mechanics which will include a handout about what was changed from the vanilla 5e rules. I will also explain verbally over a skype call about why I changed certain things and all that sort of thing. I have 3 players currently but I'm up for getting a few more. If you're not afraid of heavy moments that might show up, intense visuals, and not being the strongest person in the world which means that you'll possibly have to avoid a fight or flee, then I wouldn't mind you joining my group. We have fun and laugh and I like to have everyone being more or less friendly since this is supposed to be a game of friends. It's definitely story oriented and the other players can attest to that actions have consequences. I'm all for whatever character you want to use. The only thing that people can't use anymore are water dwelling creatures like sea elves, titans, merfolk, ect. But that's because of choices from last campaign that had rippled into forming the current story for this campaign. I also rather people use established creatures that have been converted to 5e. I don't care where you get it from too much as long as it's not something you personally created. This also applies to classes as well. If it's from the Unearthed Arcana, I'm all for it. I will also stress that just because magic is a thing, doesn't mean science still doesn't apply. You still need leverage to move/pick up something. If your character is missing a hand, that will lead to certain impossibilities because of the lack of a hand. Finally, we meet every Saturday at 5pm est. (GMT-5), but I try to wait a tiny bit and let people ease into the game since I know that there is the possibility for heavy moments where people might get emotional. It's all good and it's all in good fun. We're crafting a story together so as long as no one takes anything personally, I don't mind what happens. So I like to send out reminders like 20-15mins before we start so we can start on time. I send these through skype since it's easiest for me. We usually have a recap of the week before. You will need at least a mic. Video is a great bonus to see facial expressions and stuff like that. I will say if you miss 3 sessions in a row and don't communicate with me, I've started kicking people out since I figure that they have lost interest, got too busy, or what have you. I think that's everything but if you're interested, we can talk some more and maybe exchange skype info if you're interested and get things going so that you can be ready for even this week's session. Let me know and good luck if you find that my campaign isn't what you're looking for. ^-^
