The One Ring, Need a group and DM.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a group and DM for The One Ring roleplaying game. If you're interested let me know and I'll be sure to see if we can get something started. I'm not looking for an experienced group but I hope we can get people who know how to have fun and have a good dm who plays the game so that we can have fun and make some pretty godly moments.

Also, if you don't have the book I'm sure I can get you a copy.

I'd be willing depending on proposed day and time. I don't have the book and have never played The One Ring, but do like the Tolkein universe.

I haven't done much roleplaying before but I've been looking to join a group and I'm a big fan of LoTR.

Hey man, It'll take a bit of getting of used to but if you see yourself as fun guy and someone who likes to roleplay by all means you're part of the group. I was hoping we could get a group with one of every race. So all we need now is a DM.

The system actually seems pretty easy to understand. Creating a character shouldn't be terribly difficult, if even a little bit difficult. Me likey.

As far as the game is in it's current form, I'm no longer sure. I have mostly built this character, but I dislike the D&D system and it's restrictions, and I'm really just not excited for another tired fantasy game. If you guys want someone who is going to be really into it, I suggest finding someone else.

I'm just gonna say, give it a try. It's different and with the "Fellowship" being added it could be fun. I totally understand if you don't want to but be there for the first game and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I'll finish it up and give the first game a shot, just for you. :p I'll let you know when that's done.

Completely new to tabletop rpgs but I'm interested if you'll let me join. Might not make it in time for tomorrow (Friday) if that's indeed when the first game starts because I want to have some time to familiarize myself with the rules, but I would be more than happy if you send me a link to the rule book. Tolkiens' books and PJs' films had a profound impact on my life so yes I would love to join.
