Complete n00b

Hi all, I'm totally new to table top games (and roll 20) - I want to dive in, but will need a fair amount of help to get started (including character creation etc). Is there a game suitable to me, or has anyone got any advice? Thanks,

Checkout the games in the  LFG (Looking For Group) Tool .   Check the [] next to "Only find games that welcome new players " That should find you games where the GM is willing to help new players get started.

To add to the other advice. In your profile, put in your time zone and days you are able to game along with a little about you. Include what got you interested in wanting to learn how to game. Was it a streamer or maybe saw someone, a friend?, playing in a game or talking about one? Maybe include some information about what you like to read or watch. Many GM's look at player's profile and have been known to pass over those that do not fillout their profile and choose those who do.
