How do I use a roll result as part of the calculation for something else?

I'm kinda new to using the more complex aspects of how roll20 works, and in the game I'm about to start the crit rules are if you crit then you just straight up double the damage dice and then add the modifier. We are using the 5e community contributed sheet and in the "crit roll" field I want to be able to take the roll result from the damage dice and then double it and it auto output the new damage. I don't want it to do a new roll though as sometimes (knowing my luck) the crit ends up being lower damage than what a normal roll would have been. If it isn't possible I'll just do it manually but it would be nice for it to be done automatically. Thanks.

You'd need to use powercards for this, it isn't possible with basic chat commands

I have never used the script, but I'd recommend checking the powercards thread: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/4285059/script-powercards-3-thread-4/?pagenum=1" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/4285059/script-powercards-3-thread-4/?pagenum=1</a> (I think this is the most recent thread)
