Weekly, Thursdays 6-9 PM Pacific Time. Voice, over Google Hangouts. Character creation session scheduled for this Thursday, December 21st. "A seemingly benign discovery leads the land's greatest heroes into conflict with the corrupt rulers of the world they've valiantly protected." Players take on the role of epic heroes in a world marred by unending conflict and ruled by corrupt tyrants. They convene at the behest of a trusted ally, the wise and immortal Ailur. What none of them predicted was that this meeting would signal the end of an era, and the beginning of a long overdue revolution. Character creation works out of the Savage Worlds Deluxe corebook and the Super Powers Companion (2nd edition). Character concepts are intended to be far more powerful than the average starting level adventurer (think of yourselves as level 14 or so D&D characters). The Super Powers reflect your character's advanced abilities that place you far above and beyond the common folk. Rather than using the race rules, characters simply play as "humans" with racial abilities such as elven darkvision being reflected by super powers. This means each character receives a free starting edge, as normal for humans. Your character concept can be pretty much anything, subject to three simple caveats: 1. It must be a fantasy themed concept, AND 2. It must be someone with some goodness in them (even if they're an antihero) AND 3. They'd be inclined (even begrudgingly) to take part in a revolution. Subject to those caveats, the sky's the limit as far as concepts go! In previous games, I've approved everything from steam powered knights to reformed mindflayers, roguish shadow creatures, and even giant Ents. More traditional concepts, such as Epic Rogues or Barbarians are certainly welcome too. Let me know if you're interested by briefly discussing your proposed character concept(s) below! Looking for cool, mature, proactive players who can play well with others. Experience with Savage Worlds or the Super Powers Companion is not required, so long as you're willing to learn. So far I've got three people lined up, and I'll probably look to add 2-3 more.
