What happened to all the free tokens roll20 used to have?

I swear any time I try to prepare a map these days, there is basically nothing for me to use. There used to be all kinds of free to use tokens available, now there's nothing. Type in "Summoning Circle" 5 years ago and I would get dozens of results. Type it in now? "No results found in your library". Sorry, if it was in my library why would I need to look for it? I could just have it there, instantly. Or at least that's how it used to be.
most tokens and art are either for purchase or require subscription levels to get now in terms of your search results not yielding anything it sould also search the internet as well. i know myself as a pro user has quite a few free tokens.
The internet search used to depend on a now defunct site and it has not been updated in years. I believe that is the reason for so few items showing up for free from the search.

As the Devs said over here : After doing some digging, this is what's the cause of this issue: Back in the early days of Roll20, Google's search engine API was free and readily available to be used. This was utilized for our web search for the Art Library. At the time, Google had claimed that this would be a freely available asset for a long time. As you can probably guess where this story is going, they decided later to lock their API behind a very significant price tag. Nowadays, when someone runs searches in the art library, it's using search results that we scraped back when we still had the API available. Those search results are tied to the keywords that were searched with at the time. This list of compiled searches are nearly four years old now, and limited to the keywords that were utilized by a fraction of the userbase that we have now. Ideally, we would find another search engine API to utilize, but so far we haven't found one that is financially feasible to license. When things change it will be announced, but for now we're stuck with what we have.

Free sets (note: not individual free assets) can be found within the Premium Assets folder of the Art Library. Simple Art Library searches should still function. For example, when I searched for "circle", the search returned From the Web results that could be used as a summoning circle. Here is a link to the all of the individual free assets: <a href="https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/1/no-set" rel="nofollow">https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/1/no-set</a> You can find individual free assets by searching for their exact name, as listed on this webpage.

Wow, I haven't seen a lot of those in that last link. Thanks!
<a href="http://rolladvantage.com/tokenstamp/" rel="nofollow">http://rolladvantage.com/tokenstamp/</a> Have you tried this site and making your own. It will take some work but maybe it is a comprimise
I've recently started using RP Token Tool to create custom tokens for my games. Just signed up for a Pinterest account and searched for Warhammer 40k and Rogue Trader pictures, found the backgrounds and rings to use as borders and put them on the character portrait that the players provided. It turned out great! 1. Use paint.net to clean up portraits that your players send you. 2. Use Pinterest to find good looking backgrounds. 3. Put the character model on the background (using paint.net or Paint3d.. both free) 4. Upload that picture to Token Tool and admire your results!

I've learned that you actually can add the entire folder of "No Set" assets to your Library. To do so, search for any individual free asset. You'll see that asset is contained with the "Miscellaneous" folder (within the "Free Assets" folder). Right-click on the Miscellaneous folder and select "Copy to Library". Doing so will eventually create a "No Set" folder within your Library. Creating this folder takes a long time; you can freely exit the Game and the process will continue.
