Good one-shot 5e game for 3 players?...

1 DM and 2 PCs are trying to throw a game together since the rest of the group can’t make it. Higher level adventure preferable. Any ideas?...
well you could always run any of the game addons or you could even do a one shot for any part of the ROT or HOTDQ just adjust for your level. failing that the 4 of you could start a new game under a new GM or the Same and pick up other players who want to replace the other members many choices

Cursed Soul of the Scorpion Samurai is for 7th level characters in a party of four-five, but if you upped the PCs to 9th level they should be okay. You can probably fit it into a one-shot if you skip ahead to Act 3 and just prologue everything before that. If by "one shot" you mean "not part of a campaign but more than a couple sessions" then don't gloss over the beginning. :D Revenge of the Pale Master could be treated the same way (up PCs to 11th-12th level) but is considerably longer and doesn't have as good of a cut-off point to pick up the story mid-swing.
Thanks for the help! Managed to find 2 more PCs and started Against the Giants!...

Are those for 1 or 2 PCs?...
I have done these for 2 players reducing the number of monsters and their difficulty.
