Name: No clue. System: 5E A thousand years ago, an event wiped away 85% of humanity. This destroyed a lot of ease of life things, and seemed to specifically take out those of trade and knowledge.  Unbeknownst to most people. Since the world being purged by some destructive force, a few geographical/hierarchical changes happened. 1- All water not having magikarp is considered contaminated and not safe to drink. Does something to people. Some territories/tribes don't care. Those are your cannibals, blood warriors,  and sacrificial maniacs. 2. Pokemon are not cool with people at all. They, also being purged in most cases, carry some sort of resentment that allows them to ruthlessly kill most people on sight. With the exception of specific people (you all.), they cannot be tamed.  The specific people capable of training are extremely valuable and often targeted by force or gifts to side with territories.  3. Large Grassy areas are a myth. No one has seen any in a long ass time. Rumored promise land with lush grass and forests. The forests we have now are depressing but just suitable enough to house grass/bug/water types in the most natural of ways. 4. People are pretty sure it's been this way for .. Since forever. But there are two moons. One 'white', one 'black'. Just one sun, though. All trainers have had an aggressive,  debilitating fever at some point. Within 24 hours, you've met your first Pokemon. Figure that out.  For that reason,  there are a ton of random people poisoning their kids and pregnant wives in hopes of making trainer babies. It kind of works as far as you've heard. Not nearly enough, though. To cut cut a lot of fluff; PM me if you're interested.
