GM: Me (Ben). I have been designing, playing and GMing Fate games since the beginning of this year, and I have about 7 years of experience playing and running various other systems. I believe that Fate is the right system for my GM style, although the potential for what can be done within Fate, means I still have room to grow as a GM for this system. Description: Tales from Gaia is a homebrew world of my creation that I have adapted for the Fate Core rules. I am on my third iteration of the game after two mini campaigns. The TL;DR verision of Tales from Gaia is that it is a fantasy world with a lot of inspiration from mythology and folklore from around the world. It is set on a continent which is in turn set on the back fo a titanic immortal sea turtle. The human races are multicutural with inspiration taken from real world historic cultures. The setting/my table is inclusive to people of all walks of life as long as they are equally inclusive. There are a lot of fantasy races and monsters and also a well-thought-out (in my opinion) magic system. The setting doesn't have to be high fantasy, because while it/they exist, magic and magical people are rare or rarely seen by humans. The setting still has plenty of room for player input for worldbuilding. Stories in Gaia can be epic or personal, lighthearted or dark, political or sword and sorcery, depending on player taste. Length/Sessions: After doing two mini campaigns, I have decided to do simpler, faster paced oneshots. I plan on doing a series of one shots in a couple different settings across Gaia. Continuity for characters that are brought from one one-shot to another is not guaranteed. I probably will be doing these until June. After June I may have other plans to do a pbp campaign... Schedule/Players: Mu availability is 8AM to 1PM EDT (GMT -4) Friday through Tuesday and anywhere between 8AM and 12AM on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Looking for players of any experience level, as long as the setting interests them. Veteran Players, Players with some Experience, or Newbies are all welcome. I have run Learn to Play Fate game before and can do it again. Clients: Roll20 for the tabletop, Discord for Voice. Post  here or PM me if interested. Post below if you have general questions about the game, the world, or myself.

Just bumping this because I am still looking for another player or two. Here's a more in depth description of the setting, that hopefully will pique people's interest more: On the the back of a titanic immortal sea turtle, swimming across the surface of an oceanic world, lies a vast continent in peril of domination by a self-proclaimed God-Emperor. Disparate human cultures must work to maintain their freedom from his unrelenting grasp. Races of sprites must fight to preserve nature and their very existence from the depredations of the God-Emperor and the Hellspawn that are his allies. Play as a Human, Elf, Dwarf, Gnome, or Beastfolk. Or, choose one of the rarer races: Fallen Angel, Nephilim (half-angel), Fay, Salamander, Undine, Sylph, or Dryad. Or, choose one of the Hellspawn: Demon, Cambion (half-demon), Goblin, Hobgoblin, Ogre, Werewolf, or Vampire. Perhaps you will choose to play a Magician and choose one (or more) of the following magical disciplines: Prophecy, Alchemy, Force, Apportation, Benediction/Malediction, Necromancy/Exorcism, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, Air, Plants, Shapeshifting, Mentalism, Illusion, or Enchantment. If magic doesn’t interest you, fear not, for magic is a rare gift bestowed to a special few at birth, and the world of Gaia is full of brave heroes who know nothing of magic. While Gaia is full of magic and wonder, many humans live their lives without ever seeing it. The gods are real but few have ever spoken with them. The Sprites are real but most humans rarely see more than the occasional wandering Elf or Dwarf. The Hellspawn are real but most folk are not so unlucky to have seen the dark hordes marching. Gaia is indeed a turtle, though none in a long time have sailed far enough to spot her head breaching the ocean. Many of the gods, cultures, and creatures of Gaia may be familiar to you from history, mythology, and literature. This is because Tales from Gaia takes place on our Earth long before what we even think of as our prehistory took place. It is the story of our world’s true beginnings, before the gods changed the world to what we now know it to be. All stories and myths are but memories and echoes of the Tales from Gaia.

I am also interested but don't have Skype.  Linux box.  Discord friendly or any thing that goes through Crom or Firefox would be cool.  As an FYI The Boston Children's Museum had a huge snapping turtle named Gaia.  The live a long time so she might still be there.  Saw her about twenty years ago bringing my nephew.  Message me if you every use system otehr than Skype.  Peace!  Bob C.
