Is there a way to force a handout on start?

Howdy. I've made a handout where players can write their goals, and their personalised goals in. Is it possible somehow to force this document to be opened to players whenever they log into the game? Thanks in advance!

Not that I know of. I'm not sure even the API can do it. You can however create a landing page, with an on screen written instruction to use the handout. This could either be done with the built in text tool, or uploaded as a graphic.

The best the API can do is whisper a link to the handout to players when they log in.  You can use the MotD script to do that quite easily.

Yeah, for Roll20 subscribers with access to the API scripts -- I was gonna mention MotD script (Message Of The Day). It prints the text of a handout as a message in-chat upon login. This could be used to link directly to the handout, or even to pose the questions directly in-chat. Otherwise the best is the "Show To Players" button which pushes the handout to all players, but which must be clicked by the GM, so you'd have to be logged in.
