Tracking inventory in a specific container

My players are obsessed with having Bags of Holding.  They prefer to carry a ton of stuff with them.  I understand why.  Items are handy to have and whatnot.

I'm having difficulty tracking how much stuff they are carrying.  I had one player who wanted to fit 1,000 daggers in a bag of holding so he could use those as ranged throwing weapons.  Another player put over 200,000 copper in a bag of holding, and during interrogation of a Goblin, dumped the entire 200,000 copper on top of the Goblin, essentially burying him in copper and crushing him to death under the weight.  As fun as this is, I feel weight limits are becoming out of hand.

My question is, is there a way to have Roll20 auto calculate items in containers?  Such as Bags of holding, crates, barrels, etc.  The inventory section tracks total weight really well.  I'm hoping there is way to do this with containers as well?

Thank you.

In my campaigns, I make a character called bag of holding and give the players edit rights. They can use the drag and drop or type on special items. So far, it's working really well for us.

that plus setting encumbrance rule and all items must be carried on the sheet equals a good bag of holding

just in case here is the SRD copy of the definition of such bag with some bolding
This bag has an interior space considerably larger than its outside dimensions, roughly 2 feet in diameter at the mouth and 4 feet deep. The bag can hold up to 500 pounds, not exceeding a volume of 64 cubic feet. The bag weighs 15 pounds, regardless of its contents. Retrieving an item from the bag requires an action.

If the bag is overloaded, pierced, or torn, it ruptures and is destroyed, and its contents are scattered in the Astral Plane. If the bag is turned inside out, its contents spill forth, unharmed, but the bag must be put right before it can be used again. Breathing creatures inside the bag can survive up to a number of minutes equal to 10 divided by the number of creatures (minimum 1 minute), after which time they begin to suffocate.

Placing a bag of holding inside an extradimensional space created by a Handy Haversack, Portable Hole, or similar item instantly destroys both items and opens a gate to the Astral Plane. The gate originates where the one item was placed inside the other. Any creature within 10 feet of the gate is sucked through it to a random location on the Astral Plane. The gate then closes. The gate is one-way only and can't be reopened.

Thank you!  I hadn't considered making a character and calling it a Bag of Holding.  That is brilliant.  I don't use API yet as I am not good at programming.  So I was hoping there was a simple solution for this.

I will add that to my campaigns :)

There is an inventory API that does wonders for record keeping. It does require a bit of setting up though.
