CthulhuTech Interest check

I currently have an idea for a game that will last anywhere between 1-3 sessions, if decided it can be expanded into set adventure blocks with a steadier increase in XP. Basic idea kind of blends an aspect from another game Cthonian Stars. The UEG launches a new ship class an aerial cruiser and the PCs are said crew. But it is abducted and the crew becomes the subjects of cruel and inhumane experiments. During a lull in the torture they find their cell doors unlocked. Now it will be a matter of getting out alive and sane. Will the save the others or just themselves? Will they try to determine why it was happening and for what end? Obviously mechs and power armor is out. This will be human/psychic game. If one person is a tager then all must be tagers.
They wouldn't start with armor. Their weapon would be things like a shiv/knife or a pistol with at most 3 shots. They would have to gather the tools to survive in the small tight corridors and rooms of the mostly dark ship.
Disappointing, maybe if I run a quick game of Pathfinder I would get more responses.

I would be interested in giving it a shot. What kind of schedule are you looking at?
I would be really interested, what day would you run it, never played the system is it easy to learn?
I am interested but would depend on day and time.

Vernon Swain-Nisbet said: I would be really interested, what day would you run it, never played the system is it easy to learn? All in all the system seems pretty easy to learn. How it resolves die rolls is a bit unorthodox but beyond that most concepts are pretty basic (roll over a target number for unopposed tests, you have opposed tests, etc.).
I'd be interested, though how would this be run, via chat or via voice?
Sorry in the delay in responding. It would be based off of text since I have 2 children and it would be hard to hear and I need to listen for them. If that makes some not interested my apologies. In terms of times I would like either Thursday or Saturday. I am in eastern time so if it was Thursday I wouldn't be able to start until 6:30pm. Saturday would be anytime really preferably in the afternoon when the kids are out with their nana.
Can the rest of us use some communication software?
If youll have me, Id like to play Hanako.
Of course. I would be looking 4-5 people though I would go as low as 3.
How hard is character creation for this?

Pretty simple. You have 35 points to split between 6 attributes and 20 points to split between skills and assets. You can also take up to 10 points of flaws which only add to points for skills and assets. All of these are 1:1 so there's no funny math involved because you want a high strength. You also get 6 "cheats" which can be used to raise attributes, spent on skills or assets, or a few other things. This is the only thing that isn't 1:1 but even then it's a fixed ration (3 cheats buys 1 attribute point, 1 cheat buys 2 skill points, and it doesn't change).
Awesome! I've been trying to find a text-based campaign for a while now. If its on saturdays then I'm definitely down for playing!
Saturday would give the most time to play to devote since the kids are with their nana as I said.

Saturdays would probably work better for me than week nights, as I am on PST.
