Giving other players an Item

Hey, so if this was already suggested then please ignore this. So recently my players gave each other some items in game and I thought to myself why can´t you do that in roll20? It seems so simple and (partly) convenient. So yeah thats my suggestion: "Having a button (or something like that) that allows you to send your players or another player an item into their inventory." (we are using the english pathfinder sheet)
You can probably do that with an API script. Not sure about the pathfinder template but I would assume that it is doable.
While this is entirely possible through the API, I would love for a feature like this to be added to the character sheet process in general, similar to compendium drag-n-drop. Even if only the GM could do this, or we could drop compendium entries into the chat window that another player would use to drag into their character sheet would be fantastic.
So, right now that's sort of possible. You can trade cards . You can also make your own deck, where the cards are the items you wish to have in a physical inventory the game regards as your hand, when you drag/drop one of these 'cards' to another player, there is an automatic trade screen. It doesn't interact with your character sheet, but it does interact with the character portraits. Being able to drag/drop items from the compendium into a card would actually be pretty cool imo, with some kind of hook to bring it back into the character sheet.
