It's been 10 years since the creation of the Powerpuff Girls, and more than just villains have arrived to challenge their title as Protectors of Townsville. Heroes from all over have shown up to put a stop to the dastardly deeds of Mojo Jojo and the like, all before... the Powerpuff Girls show up to steal the spotlight. Can you make a name for yourself and your little team in this city of big heroes and big villains? Masks Masks is a game about teenage superheroes trying to figure out their powers while also trying to figure out their place in the world, taking inspiration from shows like Teen Titans and Young Justice. It's a game where you not only have to worry about the bad guy, but also about making sure you have a date to prom... maybe even one of your teammates. I want to make it clear that you are teenage superheroes; far from A-Listers. You are not Superman. You are Supergirl, who is impulsive and likes to be appreciated. You are not Batman. You are Robin, who is full of himself and thinks that disappearing is the number one way to outsmart his enemies. You will not be taking down villains with one punch. Here are the basic playbooks: http://www.magpiegames.com/wp-content/uploads/2016... I also have access to the new playbooks if anyone would like to look those over. Powerpuff Girls Powerpuff Girls is a cartoon about three little girls fighting crime that ran from 1998 to 2005. It had an anime reboot called Powerpuff Girls Z here in America and Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z! in Japan. It was also recently rebooted. I plan to use mostly villains from the original series, along with some of my own villains or fan-made villains, like Bell from PPGD. The inclusion of other late 1990's early 2000's cartoon characters will be up to the players. A basic knowledge of who the Powerpuff Girls are is all that is required. Game Info I want to run this game on Sundays from 7 pm central to 10 pm central. We will be using Discord for voice and Roll20 for maps, character sheets, and rolling. I would like to have at least 4 players who actually want to play Masks and won't leave after 1 session. I also want people who will not ask "But why/how did this happen" but will instead go out and figure it out. Masks is a game about roleplaying. Go roleplay and find out why/how. In the end, I just want to have a fun time and make a good story with anyone who plays. I will allow any of the official Masks playbooks, including the ones released in the new expansion. The Masks character sheets on Roll20 are not very good, so some information from the playbooks will have to go into Bios and Info. I have had issue before with the move Directly Engage A Threat. People have said that whenever the move Directly Engage A Threat is successfully made, a villain should Take A Powerful Blow. I do not believe this to be true, as it would make fights much shorter and much less action-packed and comic-y, so I don't do that. I deal Powerful Blows to villains when I believe a Powerful Blow has been dealt. If there are any questions, feel free to ask, and if you're interested, please say so! It's always nice to hear that there is interest, and it's even better to get players!
