Pathfinder - Attempts to Edit Character Sheet Hangs Entire Tab

Hello, just tonight I've been dealing with an extremely irritating problem that cropped up after Firefox auto-updated to the latest version. When I attempt to edit ANY text field in my character's character sheet in my group's Pathfinder campaign, it hangs the ENTIRE tab. The refresh button doesn't work. F5 doesn't work. Ctrl+F5 doesn't work. I have to close the tab out and reopen it entirely. I can't make ANY edits to my character's sheet. I have to ask our GM to make edits for me, and I really don't like to have to trouble them with such a trivial thing. Steps to reproduce: Start Pathfinder game Select Journal, select character sheet Attempt to edit a text field. Any text field. This bug comes up when the character sheet is not popped out and when it is popped out. I've also successfully replicated the bug both with and without Flash enabled as well. I have not yet tested to see if things hang indefinitely or if the hang resolves itself in time. I have not attempted to replicate this bug in Chrome/Chromium because I do not have Chrome/Chromium installed (and would prefer not to install it at all, to head off attempts to tell me to just switch to Chrome at the pass). Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 Browser: Firefox Quantum 58.0 (64-bit) Active Extensions: Adblock Plus Tile Tabs WE Javascript status: Enabled Antivirus software: Microsoft Security Essentials I also queued up the web console while replicating the error as well, but I didn't see any error messages crop up when I successfully replicated the error again. It's as if the scripts basically just... hang completely and stop responding. I can post the console output if needed, but it didn't really have any useful output that I could see. If it helps any, during this session I also had the tab crash twice on me early on whilst attempting to use the alt+scroll trick to zoom in/out on the map. I suspect that the latest Firefox version might've made some changes to some javascript functions that y'all are using and it's causing things to wig out completely. Thank you for your time and attention (P.S. I tried searching for other bug report threads that might be reporting this problem, but I kept getting a 502 Bad Gateway error on the forum search function, so I'm forced to make what might possibly be a dupe. Might be something to call to the attention of the sysadmins running the webservers.)

Hmm, that is bizarre, Which version of Firefox are you using? I know you said the latest, but there is also Firefox quantum now. Does the error occur with that? EDIT: Nope, cause now mine is also doing this (after I updated). All you need to do is click on a field to freeze the tab (can still scroll tho). System information: MAC OS 10.11.16 (64-bit) Firefox 58.0. Extensions: adblock Stylish (currently disabled) auto-refresh (not enabled for vtt) Appears to only be affecting the Pathfinder sheet. EDIT2: Should note that for me, refreshing the page still works. EDIT3: Checkboxes/radios still work (at least before you click on a text field). Nothing appears in the console to indicate something has gone wrong once you click on the text field. Textareas also do not freeze the tab. Also, should note that refresh is no longer working for me either.

I see similar issues with FF&nbsp;58.0 (64-bit) and as well as the FF beta&nbsp;59.0b3 (64-bit) The sheet/editor locks up after trying to edit a field on the sheet with memory and cpu resources getting pushed for FF in the application manager.&nbsp; But if I wait 1-2 minutes, the log continues(see below) and then everything seems to work as normal. log below is after opening a sheet and trying to enter something in a field, sheet locks 1-2min, then log continues and the sheet then seems to be fine.&nbsp; Show token's character...&nbsp; app.js:85 Show Character View Dialog!&nbsp; app.js:92 --- RENDER CHARACTIVE VIEW ----&nbsp; app.js:92 Redoing charsheet html&nbsp; app.js:92 1447ms to end of html&nbsp; app.js:92 139&nbsp; app.js:86 GET&nbsp; <a href="https://d3clqjduf2gvxg.cloudfront.net/css/themes/" rel="nofollow">https://d3clqjduf2gvxg.cloudfront.net/css/themes/</a>... Our Group is having similar issues,&nbsp; any ideas on when this is going to get fixed ( no rushing just curious if there is an ETA) Thanks again for making this sheet&nbsp; mate ^,^
I can confirm that this bug is present. My browser is Firefox 58.0 (64-bit) as well. It's an extremely severe issue as it makes it nigh-impossible to do anything with a Pathfinder character sheet, and I play Pathfinder more than anything else.

Devs, any updates on ideas for what is causing this?
Happening here too. Firefox as well. I'm glad it's not just me to be honest! Might have to switch to google chrome to play for the time being... :/

Oh geez I completely forgot to follow up and check on this after I posted it. Seems I'm not the only one having this issue, either. O..o; Also, Scott C. to answer your question about which version of Firefox I'm using, I do explicitly list that it's Firefox Quantum 58.0. :P Though if it hangs for only 1-2 minutes, while a nuisance at least it doesn't seem to be completely disabling...? Still really needs to get fixed ASAP though. :\ EDIT So I tried that 1-2 minute wait thing, aaaaaaand... it didn't work. It just stayed hung-up and frozen on me. Had to close the tab and re-load it again from scratch. This is definitely a serious problem that the devs need to fix. TIDE

Calyo Delphi said: This is definitely a serious problem that the devs need to fix. TIDE Have faith that they will, if it is within their power to do so (and not something that is outside the realms of their influence). In the meantime have you tried using chrome to check if the problem persists there?
Per another thread, Rollback to Firefox 57 and the issues go away. It worked for me
I've been using Chrome for the time being, I do hope we get a fix for this soon though, To the people working on this issue i wish you guys well and hope things go smoothly ^,^ do what you need to do we can wait a bit longer( espescially since there are work arounds for us in the time being)

Possible workaround;&nbsp; try disabling autofill addresses and credit cards from FF's Options&gt;Privacy & Security This seems to have resolved the problem for me on FF 59.0b7 (64-bit)

Even after the Devs have recently patched for this&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/permalink/6065741/" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/permalink/6065741/</a> I'm still experiencing freezing unless I disable the auto-fill addresses and credit cards in FF v59.0b9 (64-bit) This is the latest beta, not sure if it's happening on FF's latest production build...
@Vince: After completely forgetting to follow up on this for the past two weeks between Pathfinder sessions, I just tried what you did, and lo and behold it actually worked!! WHOO!! I don't have to use Chromium again! :D So whatever this bug is, it definitely involves Firefox Quantum's address autofill functionality.
