[LFG] [CST] [D&D 5e] Looking for Vets who may assist me in learning how to play

Hello Im pretty new to this over the top nerdy game and wish to have some vets help me learn how to play it without any hassle. I can easily be taught with the proper teachings and Could potentially become a skilled player. If anyone is interested in helping me learn this RP game that will be most appreciated. Please contact me through this site for I will be checking it daily. thank you and have a nice DnD day.
Hey Arthur.  Good to see new blood coming into the community. It greatly helps people on here to know what kind of games you are looking for and the details really help.  Things to consider: Have you seen any DND played?  If so, was it a podcast/streamed thing?  What edition were they playing and what intrigued you about it? What setting are you interested in?  Lord of the Rings style low-magic, or Forgotten Realms where magic is common?  Is your character dancing with insanity exploring cults in 1920's Boston or are you blasting through the sector with your Space Marine comrades in the year 41,000? What time zone are you in?  What days can you play?  What times on those days? These will help people get you more into the feel of things and make you much more likely to find a game that suits what you are looking for.
oh um thx... DnD games spectated: 0 Settings: hmm i like dwarfs so medieval fantacy-ish? since thats all i can think of when i hear the word DnD. TIme Zone: CST US Days: everyday (Mon - Thru: 4:00 Pm to 10 or 11pm / Friday: 4pm - [IDEK when i go to bed time] / Sat - Sun: 24 hours [maybe]) if you need a character sheet i had help from a friend who plays DnD and I kinda suck at creating one so....
Do you have a picture of the character sheet?  or maybe somewhere on the sheet it says what edition it is.  There are a lot of different editions of D&D and there are different games that are close to D&D but not quite.  If you don't have an idea of what you want to play or what editions to go for, you can always join us over at the Guild Living Campaign.  We are a community of over 150 players and 22 DMs that play D&D4e.  The way the system is designed you get all the resources to make a character (including a downloadable program with every book in the game, a video tutorial and a very active chat room to talk to people) and then can play that character with a bunch of different DMs so you can start to figure out what style of player you are going to be and what kinds of games you are likely to enjoy. If this sounds like something you want to try, head on over to our LFG Blurp . If it looks like something you want to play in, post on the interested players thread and you will get invited to the campaign. You can also send me a contact request on Skype at Gravymattingly if you have questions or want to be added into guild chat if you decide to join.

Wandering mod, updating your thread title.   Good luck with the game search.  I strongly suggest hitting the Looking For Group tool (top of the page, games, join a game) and looking for games that fit your windows of availability and are specifically welcoming new players.  :)
oh thx m8 ^^
