I agree with Hanako, wouldn't want non-vampire PCs to be a part of the campaign since it detracts from the usually highly-competitive and very discriminatory vampire society that views other supernaturals as food or threats. Gives the players and usually Storytellers headaches of going on lengths to explain why vamps would be associating with non-kindred for a long-term (emphasis long-term) campaign. Also in my experience, and in the opinion of many players out there cross-storyteling can get imbalanced because non-vampire supenaturals have many mechanical advantages over vampires (especially mages and sineaters because they're not hindered by the same weaknesses or psychology. Heck, certain mages can conjure fireballs and one-shot an elder vampire. And even then if someone goes to all that trouble to fit it in to have their special golden character and doesn't overpower it could easily become dead-weight (ex. vampires can survive gunshots a lot more easier than mages can) or resented by the rest of the group for having to be "that guy." Finally, I think adding in non-vampire PCs just brings in extra mechanical stuff that the Storyteller would worry about. Since we got a new storyteller, we shouldn't burden them with ridiculous requests and etc..
