♥.:*¨¨*:.♥.:*¨¨*:.♥.:*¨¨*:.♥ Day 3 Humans are funny and fickle creatures. I believe the Summer Queen was right to request that the Ring of Winter be brought to the Summer Court. It seems that these humans do not know their rear end from a hole in the ground when it comes to safe-guarding magical items. They say Artus Cimber, a lighter skin human with reddish brown hair and gray in his beard, was the individual who held the ring and has now "gone rogue". Now we have to find him. Silly humans. We met we K'lahu - or well, we stemmed a rampaging dinosaur threat for K'lahu. We made the most curious of friends in the process too! I thought Rhythm was a minstrel at first, how shameful I felt when I realised she wasn't. I think she forgave me for my mistake though? She has certainly been a wonderful help and a valuable contact with beautiful fur. As it turns out, the individual that injured the dinosaur to begin with was the very same that K'lahu had been searching for. What an awful awful person to injure a creature of the wild in such a way. I dare say I don't mind it at all that we ended his life, especially after the way he struck Faelon. Faelon... I never realised how much I would appreciate having Feywild kin in company until I left the Feywild for Chult. Perhaps that is why when this Taban fellow struck Faelon, it kindled my anger so. To take Faelon away would be like taking a piece of the Feywild from me. I miss the Feywild. I miss the Fey Courts. ...Did I mention that Faelon has the most beautiful bird of the fey as a familiar? I had to be certain to keep a supply of rations handy for his owl. I keep an extra bottle of expensive wine for Faelon as well. ... but I won't tell him that . And Velverin? I have heard many tales regarding drow, but Velverin seems... different. He hasn't done any of the things I expected and has proven himself a most valuable contact. Though... I am still not quite sure what to make of him. I am grateful for his assistance nontheless. Who is it he talks to all the time, I wonder? Gastard, I hardly had time to learn about you. You were always shoulder to shoulder with me in battle and I appreciated your contributions very much. I wonder if you knew that you still could have struck Taban from ten feet away with your glaive? Perhaps if you had been ten feet away instead of shoulder to shoulder with me, you might still be alive. ...I will never know now. Anyhow, we found the scoundrel that injured the dinosaur and returned to K'lahu. Faelon found a Bag of Holding on the mage, how lucky! K'lahu was kind enough to gift a lovely mace for our efforts and Velverin was so thoughtful to fetch that rose perfume I fancied! I want to do something nice in return... but I don't know what he would like? Maybe I should ask him. I wonder if I annoy him? It looks like tomorrow will be a day filled with collecting more information. Maybe a meeting with the Harpers will yield some useful results. ♥.:*¨¨*:.♥.:*¨¨*:.♥.:*¨¨*:.♥
