I plan on running a One Piece D20 game in the future, but I don't know if anyone on roll20 would be interested in such an idea. Thus that's why I created this post. I have a basic idea of what I want the setting to be. But as for time & date I'm not so sure when. I'm already running a couple other games but this one is gonna be a side project til further notice. If you have more questions please feel free to pm me or post here. Anyways here is a rough idea of what the setting is gonna be like. Setting: Luffy has found the One Piece, but it wasn't what everyone expected it to be. A puzzle box, that no one could open, not even the famous Gold D. Roger could crack it. Made of strange metal engraved with even stranger writing than that scribe upon Poneglyphs. Call it fate or dumb luck, Luffy managed to open the puzzle box, and with it, the entire world flew into chaos. Entire islands and civilizations once isolated from most of the world begun to rise above the waves; mingling with other tribes, island nations any creatures from all corners of the world at once. Pirates and marines alike were baffled, confused, and angry at the sight. Just as Luffy & friends we're at their wits end on trying to stop this event from continuing there came a bright flash, then darkness, then silence. The world's creatures opened their eyes once more to find themselves on different islands than where they were previously, with little to no memory of who they were or where they originally came from except for fragments floating in the back of their minds. Enemy factions became friends without knowing why they were fighting in the first place, helping to rebuild society on foreign soil. As for what happened to Luffy & company no one knows, the name Luffy was lost to most who associated with the straw hat. However there's still a lingering fragment of memory itching at the back of everyone's head. One they can barely remember: One Piece. They know of it's existence but not where or what it was. Over the years and to this day even, the legend of the one piece kept changing. Some say it's an object that will help bring back everyone's memories before the calamity. Other's believe it's a weapon used to conquer all. But they can all agree it's out there in the sea, somewhere... It wasn't long til the great peace bestowed at the beginning quickly disappeared as it came, in it's place violence and petty squabbles, bloodshed and tears. The basic instincts of life reared it's ugly head and darkened a once bright age. The traces of personal memories found in everyone helped rebuilt the establishment of the old ways, but this time more diverse and tolerant of mingling species within these rebuilt systems. Save for memory loss & tolerance, most things stayed the same due to fragment memories guiding them subconsciously. One Hundred and fifty years passed since then. By this time past events fell into legend and the world factions fell back into place; same ideals with new faces. As for the pirates they still ravage the seas, exploring new islands crafted from the cataclysm. Befriending or conquering all that get's in their way. The legendary one piece still rests on the tongue of most who seek it, wishing to pursue it's riches.
