(Regular players can ignore this announcement) As you may (or may not) remember, the GM Rules and Resources document contains the following rule: DMs are required to run at least one session or check at least three sheets or sets of macros from new characters (that are NOT their own characters) each purge cycle (about 2 months). If a DM does not fulfill these duties between two consecutive purges, their DM privileges will be revoked. To begin fully implementing this policy (and also to keep track of the most popular times and levels for games, both on the player and DM side), the following rule is being added for DMs: After you run a session, try to run a session (but not enough people show up), check a sheet, or check a journal’s macros, please record what you did in the appropriate spreadsheet on the DM Scorecard . We will use the info you put on here to track whether or not DMs are fulfilling their responsibilities. You also get DM points! We additionally hope to use some of the data as “telemetry” for ideas on what the best times and types for games to appeal to our players. PLEASE remember to do this. All DMs should take care in entering in their names for the sessions and sheets. If your name is entered correctly, your personal color will appear for your name. If it is not typed correctly, the spreadsheet cell will stay white. Please do this for all scheduled/impromptu games either at the beginning when handling rolls or after finishing up loot. You could even ask a fellow DM who is present to do for you (just as they may pull up loot sheets for you. Again, this is an expectation of ALL DMs! Please follow through! Thanks!
