| [ Trudvang Translation Kickstarter ] | [ Art of Trudvang Kickstarter] | [ Roll20 Link ] Note, both of these kickstarters are over. - - - About the System Trudvang Chronicles, previously named Drakar och Demoner Trudvang in Swedish, is a TRPG based heavily on the ideas and fantasies of Nordic and Celtic folklore, mythology, and legends. The genre Trudvang belongs in would be Sword and Sorcery, as combat is dangerous, fraught with risk and often isn't worth it in the end. Sadly, Trudvang Chronicles is not available as a sheet on Roll20 (Yet! I've recently asked a sheet-developer to construct one, but it will take some time) , so we'll be using a Google Excel document as a sheet. It's incredibly basic and doesn't do any math, and since Trudvang isn't an OGL game, I can't publicly share the games PDF. The System itself revolves heavily around skills usage, which is purchasable with 'Character Points'. A set amount will be given to the players at the start to create their characters, and more can be gained through playing the game. The campaign itself will take place in Trudvang, the settings main continent. It is a dangerous land where it is a near-constant struggle to survive in the hostile wilderness, and must regularly seek refuge in the pockets of civilization to rest and recuperate. - - - About the DM Hello, my name is Eeon. I like to consider myself to be a decent, flawed DM, with most of my experience coming from DnD 5th Edition. I like to follow the rules in the book, but will grand certain freedoms when the ruling themselves are left a bit vague. Yet despite my flavor for rule-lawyering, I am a pro-RolePlay DM, and I have stalled plots and encounters if people are engaged in roleplaying. My style is very reactive instead of proactive, thus I will happily wait until players have decided, and emoted, to continue onwards. You have full control over the pacing of the story. I rely a lot on the 'Theather of Mind' style, and will generally only employ pictures with thematic background music and sound-queues fitting of the current scene. I will use the Roll20 battle map when needed, such as in combat encounters, so supplying a character picture would be appreciated. The quality of the maps will vary depending on the amount of time I've had to prepare for it. Note: *If you prefer to listen to your own music while playing, simply notify me ahead of time so that I can adjust my style around that.* I will note that I have not played this system before , but I have read the core books extensively. I will most likely use the Wildheart  pre-published adventure to start the campaign, so unless you want spoilers, do not read that book. - - - Other information The starting date itself is Wednesday March 14 8:10PM GMT+0 (Starting later or earlier depending on interest) , but the time is locked. The goal is to play for 3 to 4 hours. Applications are entirely free-form, with no requirements, rules or structure. You are free to apply however you want.  There will be certain things I am looking for, such as and not limited to; grammar and spelling competency, word-selection, and detail. - - -
