I already bought the D&D starter edition "lost mine of phandelver" and want to play it with my friends, but the roll20 module is another 20 dollars. Is there any possible way I can get access to it on roll20 by proving I already own the physical version?

Sadly no, what you are buying in Roll20 is also the work put into creating everything digitally and all that. You can run the module by using the book as a guide and creating the things yourself, but if you want everything ready you would have to buy it again.

Unfortunately not, because while Roll20 has a partnership with WotC, they are not the same people that you gave money to when you bought the physical copy. You will see this same process is used by other competitors as well.
