The island nation of Aistral is a dangerous place. The wilderness surrounding every city is filled with hungry creatures and evil forces, and even the royal family cannot travel from place to place without getting attacked. In order to remedy this, the government is sponsoring guilds to take up arms against these beasts. Joining one of these guilds earns you the title of Hunter, and your job is simple: track and kill whatever creature(s) you've been ordered to. If you do that, you get paid, and your guild will slowly climb the latter of fame. You have recently joined the small guild calling themselves "The Moonlit Templars", an up and coming group based in the town of Varden, and your first job is to track and kill a bothersome Hydra! The goal of this campaign is to break away from the dark campaigns most of us are used to, and instead spend some time tracking and fighting powerful monsters. Role-playing is still a factor, but this campaign is a combat oriented one. You're free to work on an incredibly developed backstory, but it's not necessary. In fact, you don't even need a backstory, other than you're a new guild member! This Monster Hunter campaign is done in a "Monster of the Week" style , meaning that every session will more than likely be a separate job, unless something unusual happens. This style is great for new and old players alike, and trying new things is not only allowed, it's encouraged! This game will require payment to participate.
