Storm King's Thunder update (latest) messed up the main overland map of Faerun

Lots of things are weird since the update. The "reconnect" button in the settings menu doesn't do anything in any version of any browser that any of our party uses. And yet the game keeps telling us that we're using an old version of chat. The button doesn't do anything so we're not sure why it keeps saying that. The biggest issue is that all of the location nameplates are removed from the main overland map of Faerun. Gone. All of our chat history is also gone. What happened?

There's a new "Players' Map of the North" in SKT. I believe it was added because the original Map of the North had a bunch of spoilers on it. That original map still exists in your page toolbar, so you can continue to use it. Hopefully, your chat log is still there too. Sometimes it rolls up, and at the top of the chat column you need to hit "View all chat entries for this game" because it's been archived out into the external journal.
