is there anything going on tonight that would welcome a new player to most systems? Just looking for something to do to keep me in from the cold and would like to get back into RPGs after an 8 year abscense.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is a rerun today so meh, why not? What systems? I'm probably fastest at making a character for Pathfinder. I'm super interested in DC Adventures, Mutants and Masterminds Third Edition, or <a href="http://www.d20herosrd.com" rel="nofollow">www.d20herosrd.com</a> depending on the GM's budget. Anything else I'm going to ask the GM for a premade character.
I'd also like to join in something tonight. D&D/Pathfinder is mostly where my experience is at, but up for trying anything really. Really miss my gaming.
I've read quite a few books on 4th edition and since then i feel for the most part ready to play (still a little confusion, but I've never played, so its bound to happen). been trying to find a group for a couple weeks now, but haven't been lucky enough yet. would LOVE to get in on the action if it happens
Mostly I was just looking for a couple people bored enough to play through a combat in Basic that I just went through in Next. To compare the speed of combat rounds, complexity, overall combat length, and general tone of the fight. Insomniac beta-testers, essentially. But even I'm not nocturnal enough to commit to anything in 4e!
