Is there any way (using macros or otherwise) to create a countdown timer? i want to make timers that can be seen by either just me, me and a selected player/players, or by everyone.

You can setup a custom turn tracker item that will automatically increment or decrements every turn pass. ( link ) Or you can set a token as your 'clock', set the turn order for that token and use a macro to subtract from the Tracker [[ 1 @{tracker:-} ]]
