Posting this here rather than in the public forum. This thread is for calling out any updates I've made to any documentation, or just random things I'm going to be doing differently in upcoming sessions. After last night, one thing I think I'll do is automatically just run team battles if 8 or more combatants show up. (not a ruling, so this can change based on how we feel each session or other plans I may have for a session) Although I sort of boned green team last night by screwing up a couple calls (not going to get into it, but you all would have done your actions much differently if I had gotten a couple things right the first time), I thought over all the team fight was a good option. It only took us 2 hours for that last match, compared to almost 5 for the first one. If we can get it to where we can get through three matches a night, I think that would be ideal. If anyone has any suggestions for improving the process of selecting teams, let's discuss. (start a new thread, though. I want to keep this one only for updates) That being said, I may or may not get a post up today with results. But everyone got a shit ton of exp last night, so that's something to enjoy. ;) Lastly, I'm amazed and happy by how fast this has grown. But I'm gonna tap the brakes a little. I won't have the game advertised in LFG for next week. I need to get to know the current crop of players, get all the bugs worked out of your character sheets, get everyone's specific rules questions ruled on, before we bring in any more new people. Every week there are a few who dont' come back, but our core of regulars continues to grow. I'll advertise again if we start having fewer than 8 folks showing up for a given session.
