[LFG] Where people actually show up.

So I keep applying to various games, get invited to join a few of them. Possibly have one session. AND THEN NO ONE SHOWS UP TO THE ACTUAL GAME TIME! Honestly it is so bad that I'm just about ready to give up searching. The worst part is when the only two people who show up to play are me and the GM. So I've stopped caring about the system, or the size of the group. I just want people who actually show up and role play(as opposed to roll play). Anyway if you are a GM and you are looking for one more reliable player please let me know.

I feel ya, Tim P... Really I do! This happens ALL the time. It's just a function of the internet. People here aren't really *Real* people, ya know, so who cares if you made a promise to them? It's not like you're actually inconveniencing anyone who matters, right? Alls I can say is, keep trying. There are good people, both players and GMs out there. We're just vastly outnumbered. Hey there.  You are welcome to join us over at The Guild Living Campaign. Our group has been running for 4 years and we run multiple games every week that you can show up to as much or as little as you like.  As far as getting a game run and being reliable, you are set with Guild Living.  Our games are also each individually labeled [Narrative], untagged or [Arena].  [Narrative] games focus exclusively or almost exclusively on the story elements and there may or may not even be a combat during the session.  Untagged have a mix between combat and roleplay depending on the story and the DM.  [Arena] games are just excuses to fight things and focus on the combat.  So you have a good amount of being able to tailor what game sounds good to you. i am running a D&D 3e Gestalt Monk campaign. we play on Sundays between 1 and 5 pm MST. and just to let you know at this point i am a DM and also a player.
