Looking for a player that can make the time stated. Post below your character concepts. Newbies are more than welcome but do include what you would like to get out of the game

Hey, I'd love to be able to join a game, and I am free at that time. I am mildly experienced (almost 3 years, most of it as a DM), and really want to get back into playing more. Character Name: Montir Race: Half-Orc Class: Bard Gender: M Brief Backstory: Growing up, Montir was raised by his Orc father after being welped on a Human slave. Still, he didn't really fit in with the Orcs. He hated the constant battle training and slaughter that was the everyday life of his tribe. So, in the night, he would sneak out and find his mother with the other slaves and listen to her tell stories and sing songs of heroes, jesters, kings, and many other things. He loved those stories more than anything else in his life, and so, when he came of age, Montir left his tribe with nothing but a lute and a hope that, one day, he would create a story of such reknown that it would be told for the next 100 years.

i would enjoy the cahnce to play and see if i can play the charachter i've come up with and really want to learn roll 20, (hoping to build my own campaign down the line.

Character information; Name: Asukai Teruhara Class: Monk Race: Human Brief background: Asukai was trained by a reclusive enclave known as the "Ironfists" who were notorious for their feats of physical strength and prowess (Their grand-master was rumored to have smashed through two castle gates with merely his fist). Asukai was trained day in and day out since he was 6 by his masters instilling in his head that strength was above all the way to which a monk must strive for and that nothing should get in between such purusit. Asukai however found another purpose in life, the love of a small village girl who resided in the village next to the monastery. When the village was attacked by a band of orcs, Asukai disobeyed his master and went down to save the villagers himself. It was too late however as his lover was murdered and the village burned to the ground. It was the first time that Asukai felt the helplessness of not being able to do anything and, after not returning to the enclave, set out on his own spiritual journey to find himself, not through the laws of an enclave, but one that came through contemplation from within for his own morals and ideas Just a little about myself, I absolutely love fantasy based games, books, and of course, tabletop games. I have been looking for an amazing group to play with and i hope i can be a part of yours

Hello! My name is Anna-Rae. The main thing I would like out of a campaign is an actual adventure. I want to discover all the world has to offer be it action packed or heavy story. As a player I prefer a welcoming role playing environment and an outside of the box kind of group. Below is my application with an outline of my character. This is a rough outline as it can be changed to better fit the world if necessary. Name: Anna Age: 21 D&D Experience: My D&D experience was mainly media based until about 6 months ago. I have always been fascinated with the game so I watch campaigns on you tube. 6 months ago my coworker approached me to join his new session since it was "newcomer" friendly. It was a 3 month campaign that went amazingly. He started another which I currently play in as well, it has been going on for about 2 months now. Character's Name: Halda Moina (elvish words for hidden and safe) Character's Class: Warlock (half-elf race) Backstory: My backstory is focused on "secret identity". As a young half-elf i was captured and forced into the slave trade. My history is a haunting one full of unfortunate experiences. Early on in my adulthood my slave camp was raided and all of the slaves freed. Lacking strength and overcome by fear I ran. I ran until I came to a tree by a river. A tree that seems to have entirely vanished from existence. I sat under the tree and began to cry. I cried until I fell asleep. Once asleep I began having incredible dreams. I dreamed of a voice that called to me. I could not see anyone and I felt no presence, I only heard it speak. It spoke in a language I now can not remember but seemed so clear on that day. When I awoke from the dream my sadness had faded and my tears had dried. I felt different. I felt powerful. I stood from my spot under the tree and made my way back into town. On my way a man began to follow close behind me. It was as I turned a corner that he grabbed me. I reached for him to defend myself when I started to hear him speak. His mouth did not move and he didn't seem to be speaking to me, it was almost as if I was in his head. And I was. He had a nasty mind and called me horrible slanderous names. My anger grew and my hands began to ignite with him in my grasp. He pulled away in pain and ran. It was then I realized the voice from my dream had bestowed great power unto me. I was changed forever and embraced it. I grew my hair to cover my elvish ears and changed my name to appear more human. I began traveling the world, using my power for good....well... mostly good anyway. I move from town to town looking for adventure. Trying to find a way to broaden my horizons and test the boundaries of my magic. In my earlier years with my powers I made many enemies from stupid mistakes. I have become very good at hiding and disguising myself because of this. I am still looking for my place in this world and fear I may never find it. Character description: Halda stand 5' 7" and weighs 130 pounds. She has blue gray piercing eyes and mid-length blonde hair. She has a small frame but fierce qualities. She is as fearless as she is adventurous. She tends to a quiet side as she watches a room, reading everyone in it. Halda constantly has an exit strategy.

Possibility of more open slots due to changes in circumstance, so happy to receive more applications. as a heads up we tend to use team speak for voice though may be moving to discord in the future.

It would be helpful to know more about your game. Like setting, or some history, or the premise. It also helps to know your age, if you're the dm, and what kind of focus you want for your game (RP/Combat/Exploration ETC). As for character concept I have none for a world I know nothing about, and if the game doesn't care about RP then that will be a non-issue.Furthermore, it would be nice to know what the others in your current group are playing and how many there are. That sort of stuff would be great.

Name: David TIME: Eastern: Looking for evening times Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. TYPES OF GAMES: 18+ that like to have fun laughing and playing. Harkner (LvL 1 Dwarf Barbarian) Found by a clan of nomad barbarians as a young dwarf he was raised by Klarth, the clan leader and his mate. Klarth told Harkner that he was found on a mountain pass as the clan made their way farther north one summer. They came across what looked like a dwarven camp that had been beset by orcs as there were many more orc bodies than dwarven bodies. They found him under the body of a dwarven maid in full battle armor. Once he was of age Harkner set out to uncover his origins and hunt orcs whenever possible. Kuraki Lynith (LvL 1 Half Elf Warlock) BACKGROUND: He and his companions were hunting the forest one night when they were attacked by a party of drow warriors. Kuraki was taken as a slave along with two of his other companions. As a slave to the drow he was able to make a pact with a Fiend in order to escape. He was the only one to escape alive and since his arrival back to the surface; he has dedicated his like to keeping the land free of evil. ABOUT ME: I am a 39 year old high school Spanish teacher. I fell in love with fantasy worlds when I was about 14 years old. I have read so many series that I should probably reread all that I read when I was young. I have always wanted to try my hand at D&D but did not know really how to go about it. Now though I have finally been able to sit down and really delve in the game.

Before I bother you with an application I wondered if you could share a bit about your campaign? Also, is this text/voice/video? Thanks!

Lots of valid points mentioned above.  To start off with I did not post a lot of campaign information as I like to run a session zero where we run character creation and discuss with the players what they want out of a game. I like to build the game around the players. The character concept request was purely so I had an idea about the type of character you wanted to play, not necessarily the one you would end up playing.  The technical side; I should have been clearer with this. We will use roll20 for dice rolls, battle-maps and any visuals required. Voice will be over TeamSpeak3 at the moment but may move to discord. As mentioned in the title the game is due to be played from 8pm GMT on Fridays. However some people have expressed an interest in moving it to Saturday 8pm GMT. As a DM I can do either of those times so its up to majority rules as far as I'm concerned. The game it self will run Biweekly ( as in every other week rather than twice a week) in principle but hoping to have players that can be flexible with that, we all want to play but sometimes real life does get in the way. From the applications and conversations I have had so far the campaign will be a homebrew/pre-written module mix. However if you are an experienced player who has run through most published WotC material don't worry I base my choices on the players at the table. As for character creation any published WotC material is fine, UA can be used but only at DM discretion. Point buy or standard array for stats and we will be starting at level 3. I hope that clears up a few things. I initially ran a session zero earlier with a few players and so far we have a human rogue, human wizard and elven ranger ( yes I know it sounds a little cliche but who cares) but I'm still open to accepting one or maybe two new players. Not sure if you're still looking, but I'll post anyway and take my chances. Characters: Human bard charlatan, a bard who uses his charms and good looks to manipulate people as well as bring out their deepest desires. Dragonborn fighter, a grumpy dragonborn that believes many things can be sorted with a good rough and tumble and usually for a pretty penny. Goblin rogue, despite being hated by most of the general public, he/she does their best to try and please others and just wants to be accepted. Tiefling cleric, haven't thought much about a background and story, but I'm sure I could make a good one. I can write a lot more about it if needed, but these are just basic concepts I've had for a while. As for myself, I'd be available for either Friday or Saturday and I'm from the UK so I'm on GMT time. I'm fairly new to the game but I'm getting along well with it thus far. I'd like to experience more playing time and try more roleplaying but also get more fluent with combat so things can go more smoothly.
