Inside the Star Chamber A Forgotten Realms Campaign for 5e

in Waterdeep a series of unforseen deaths and disappearances lead to tales of a Prophecy that speaks of a sleeping entity that has begun to stir from a millenia long slumber. What is it and how will you and your party figure in the scheme of things. This will be an ongoing 5e campaign , Be warned i have NOT gmed 5 e yet but im diving in head first. Seeking a party of 5-6 players all at 1st level. please know this will be a balance of roleplay and combat with problem solving and other elements as well . please no min maxing at 1st level . Games will be every other Saturday night at 7pm central time till 11pm central time . We will do a character Gen night once we have enough players. also we will be using DISCORD. Comment or message if interested in Playing

I'd like to join.  I've DM'ed a bit, but mostly using other systems.  I'm also on CST, and am free on Saturday nights.  I have Discord as well.

How do you plan on generating stats?  point buy, rolling?  Edit:  I have a friend who may also be interested.

My experience:  I DM a game on Fridays (group is over a year old now) so I have a decent amount of experience.   I'm glad that you do not want min / maxing.  I typically roll characters that I think will have good RP and playability.

I'm very interested. However I would like to know your character creation rules. Or, rather, what books are or aren't available, will there be homebrew/third party options I should be aware of, what options from the core book are you using like feats ETC.

Coard there will be a Session zero so characters will be generated then , since i have never Dm'd 5 e i want to keep things simple for now . im looking for characters to be from the PHB and possibly Swordcoast adventures guide. also private message and i will hook you guys up with invite links
