Pathfinder character sheet spell tab # used column

So the # used column in my Pathfinder sheet is blue'd out (save for the cantrips) implying those numbers are updated elsewhere. I had expected them to update when I rolled to cast a spell of the appropriate level logged in my book. Nothin' doin'. How do I update that column?

The #used column is tied to each spell entry, #Used.  If you manually change the #Used on the spell entry, the #Used on the Spells/Day section will also update.  Macros(and that's what is being used when you cast a spell, roll an attack, etc. either from the sheet or from a chat menu like your spellbook) cannot affect/write changes to sheet attributes.  API scripts (pro level perk), like the awesome  Pathfinder Companion Script can do this as well as many other things.
