Howdy folks! After having spent a long time preparing my latest campaign, I am now looking players who want to play it. I've got 3 slots filled, and need 2 or 3 more players. The campaign takes places in a fully homebrewed setting, for which an extensive guide can be found here . Campaign Type The three most important themes the campaign will focus on are Exploration, Character Development, and Travel. In a fairly sandbox-y game with one overarching plotline, you will get to explore the history and lands of Wraja while meeting interesting characters and developing your own. The world of Wraja is vast and wild with medium amounts of magic, and traveling will be an important part to what you do. For more details, feel free to have a look at the Player's Guide linked above. Other characteristics of the campaign are: Combat/Tactics: Medium - Fighting will be a relatively obvious path to take in many scenario's, but using subterfuge or cunning schemes to defeat enemies is a definite possibility. Roleplay/Levity: Medium - You aren't forced to be in character all the time, but the game is intended to be a fairly serious one, and I want to keep out of character joking to a bit of a minimum. Self-direction: Medium - I will actively try to work with you to weave your characters' backstory into the world. However, it will not be the only focus of the campaign, and you will be able to seek out unrelated plot hooks. Lethality: Medium - Death is absolutely possible, but should only occur if you are making significant tactical mistakes. This should not be a game where half the party dies before level 5. Player Buy-in This campaign will only work if you... 1. Commit. Expect character creation to take an hour or two, rather than 15 minutes. You need to be willing to read some homebrew (10-20 pages) in order to enjoy this campaign, and you'll be tracking your own ammo and food supplies. I understand that you can't promise to stay with the group for a year without ever meeting anyone, but you need to at least have the intention to play a longer-lasting game. 2. Immerse. I've put in a lot of time to create a living, breathing world, and a large portion of the campaign will be you interacting with it. Practicalities We plan to play this campaign on Roll20 - using Discord for voice communications - between 20:00 and 00:00 on sunday evenings. Webcams are a maybe, but at least two of the people in the group so far do not own any. The plan is to start Sunday, March 25 with a 'session 0', where I will introduce all players to each other and go over the details of the campaign with everyone. Edit: note that we are on CET - Central European Time. I don't mind playing with those in other timezones, but you'll have to work around our schedule a bit if that is the case. Interested in joining? Send me a PM, and I will reply with my Discord information. We'll talk somewhere between the 25th, and I will let you know before that date whether we want to take you on-board.
