CLOSED: [LFP] Monster of the Week Club

Hi folks!  I'm looking to start a fun and light hearted monster of the week campaign.  Something with the formula of shows like the x files or supernatural but with more of an upbeat, hope-punk feeling overall. The players will be members of an extra-curricular club at the local community college and members of the community who support them.  Together, they produce a very low budget camcorder ghost encounter tv show in which they, unbeknownst to all of their viewers and many of their members, confront very real and very dangerous supernatural entities.  I'm very open to weird and wild character concepts, but any unusual powers should be matched with even more unusual weaknesses. The game, like the club, will meet regularly but will be attendance optional.  This will be a mini campaign with the possibility of being longer if people are enjoying it.   I'm thinking we'll probably play over discord, but I'd like to find players on here.
I have been looking for a MotW game for a bit now and if schedules match up I would love to join in.
I would love to join up! I've been looking for one of these games and have tons of ideas for characters.
I'm certainly up for playing a game of MotW, depending on the day and time.  I'm in the Pacific timezone., and normally work 7-4 under my current schedule.  Days may be variable for my schedule.
i'm in the ctz and i would like to play but i need a bit more info first
I'd love to join. But, I don't know if this should be noted that this is a Fate community. Monster of the Week is PbtA.

Hello Everyone, If this is a Monster of the Week game using Fate as the system, it's appropriate for this group. If this is a Monster of the Week game using PbtA as the system, then it would be better posted either in the LFG forum or on a created Game Listing. /Matt

Dang...  I hadn't noticed which group he posted this to, so I had assumed it was Knights of the Written Word...  I was thinking it was going to be a text game, so I'm probably out if it's supposed to be voice. However, in defense of the OP, he never actually said that he's using the Monster of the Week ruleset.  The phrase "monster of the week" can refer to the genre that he's emulating.  It could easily be played using FATE rules.

The game would likely be on weekends, preferably between 3 and 8 pacific time, but I'm open to adjusting for player needs.  Since tone is so important to this game, I wanted to screen character concepts a little bit.  Anyone who's interested should send me the high concept and trouble aspect of the character they'd like to play, with a more in depth bio if you wanna but that's not super necessary.  I'd like to workshop those aspects of characters one on one before going into the phase trio as a group with whoever is up for playing. Sorry if i'm a little disorganized, I just got done with finals.  Is there anything anyone wants to know about the game before setting up those first aspects with me?

Hello Grods, Be sure to list your game in the 2018 One-Shots, Mini-Campaigns and Longer Campaigns listing and link this thread to that listing. /Matt
Thank you!  I'd forgotten to hit post :'(
Does this game have any positions left? I've been meaning to get into Fate a bit more and this campaign has a cool concept. Shame I didn't find this before the first session XD
