I'm new to roll20 and just bought a module. I can't seem to find the book for the module. My question is does it come with a pdf file for the book and if so where do I find it?
Most modules do not have any pdfs. All the information is contained in the handouts, all the npcs and monsters are setup, all the maps setup also. The handouts are hyperlinked together also. Depending on your subscription level, there are additional features enabled.
Peter K. said: ok what do you mean by handouts? What do you mean by they are hyperlinked together? Also since I am pro what additional features are enabled? Handouts - basically they are pages of information that can be shared with the players, or kept secret that only the GM or certain players may view. Hyperlink(see how the "Handouts" text in the line above works?) means that the handouts will have hyperlinked text within them that will open other handouts. Just like hyperlinked text on the internet. You can manually create links between handouts as well. https://wiki.roll20.net/Journal#Link_Between_Journ... Subscription info: https://app.roll20.net/account/supporter Some modules may have dynamic lighting that's only available to Plus or higher. IMO, Pro is mostly about access to custom sheet's and API scripts. Not sure if any modules take advantage of Pro perks with additional features... Cheers
As a side note, you need to create a new game using the module you just purchased to access the handouts, etc.. All of this will be inside the game. The process for making a new game based on the module you just purchased is here: https://wiki.roll20.net/How_to_Access_Marketplace_...
