Issue with Dynamic Lighting "Can not create a blocked off space or an area PC cant walk through"

Hi friends I've been playing for about a year here, but just recently got a pro account. So I'm trying out the new dynamic lighting feature up and running and there seems to be some issue here for me. No matter how hard I try, I cant make areas unreachable to the PC (not seen, and non accessible). I've fallowed guides online by mimicking every single movement, but i still run into the same issue. The maps, all have Dynamic lighting enabled, Enforce line of sight enabled, Restrict movement, and update on drop. I've even played around with the fog of war option and tried every thinkable option there as well. Also the tokens seem to be functioning fine, as I enter a PC, revealing areas one by one, but the lines I draw, just dont block of light, or restrict their movement. Any ideas what i might be doing wrong here ? Best Regards.

Do your tokens have "Has Sight" enabled? If they don't, they won't see anything and they won't be blocked by Dynamic Lighting lines. Side note, you appear to have a Plus account, not a Pro account. If you intended on getting a Pro account (API access, Custom Character Sheets, etc), you'll need to go to your My Account settings and adjust your subscription level: https://app.roll20.net/account/supporter

Incidentally, if you select a token and hit Control-L (or Command-L on Mac) you can see what that token sees, and it will respect Dynamic Lighting the same way it would for a player.

Are you testing useing CTRL+L on a player's token and or re-joining as a player, or using a player/dummy account to test? As a GM, you can walk through walls. Also, make sure the token's advanced settings have "Has Sight" enabled, otherwise DL doesn't work for them. sniped...

Jesus christ you guys are fast. Oh yeah, my bad mixed the pro and plus up. Sight is enabled, yes. And if I enter as a player or shift-L the same thing happens, they just see through the square or line ive drawn. Ps. Thanks a lot for the fast reply

Are you drawing the lines on the Dynamic Lighting Layer? It sounds like they might be on the map layer.

What Aaron said. Draw on the Dynamic Lighting layers. You can select what you've drawn and use copy/paste to the DL as well.

When you have them on the Dynamic Lighting Layer, you will only be able to see the lines when you are on that layer. I highly recommend using the Advanced Shortcut Keys, that will let you switch very quickly between the different layers: o -- Object Layer m -- Map Layer k -- GM Layer , -- Dynamic Lighting Layer.
Thanks a lot guys, I had no idea there was a specific layer. You saved my game tomorrow. Great community here. Best Regards.

Note that you can't use the paint brush to draw Dynamic Lighting lines, you'll probably want to redraw the lines you've made that look like a road. Also, rotating Dynamic Lighting lines does not work. You'll need to redraw the lines in the new orientation. (There are scripts for that in the API, but you'd need to be at the Pro subscription level to use them.)
