Will my computer work?

Hello all. I’m new to the site and I’m curious about how my newish laptop will run Roll20, specifically with all of the bells-and-whistles running. Here are my specs: Hp 15.6 Inch HD Thin and Light Laptop ( 7th Gen AMD A6-9220 2.5Ghz APU, 4GB DDR4 Memory, 128GB SSD, Wireless AC, HDMI, Bluetooth, WIndows 10) I know this is low end, but will it be enough to smoothly run something like SKT without issue? Any advice would be helpful. If it will run it, I plan on getting the highest subscription and having as much fun as I can here. Thanks, -Dusty
I think you should be fine. Not sure how resource-intense SKT is, but it can't be that bad. (The more 'items' in a game the slower it will go.) I've got an older laptop and it does fine most of the time, a bit laggy but I've got literally hundreds of assets in my game.
I see. So, a module like SKT could potentially bog a system down with assets, which would make things like dynamic lighting or 3D dice less responsive? I tried to do spec research for this app, but there were very few mentions of exact specs and details of performance at those specs. Thanks for the prompt response!

Potentially, yes. The more active assets (maps, character sheets, etc) there are, the slower it'll get. Dynamic lighting, fog of war, 3d dice, etc, are also factors. Of all the above, I think dynamic lighting is the biggest factor (many many line-of-sight calculations). Video will also, of course, eat bandwidth. (If you're using R20's video/audio system, you're doing it wrong) Regardless, I'm fairly sure you'll be fine.  If you'd ilke to visit my campaign and see how laggy it is, you're more than welcome to send me a PM and I'll link ya.
